Coconut oil vs Olive oil
Coconut oil retains its nutritional benefits, even at high temperatures giving it the edge over olive oil in terms of cooking.
Coconut oil is a stable oil which makes it an excellent choice for frying. Due to its high saturated fat content, coconut oil can be heated to frying temperatures and retain its flavour and nutritional value.
Olive oils have a much lower frying temperature meaning that you can easy burn the oil and ruin not only the flavor of your food but the nutritional benefits you would normally expect to derive from olive oil.
Olive oil has many nutritional benefits and there is no reason why you have to stop using it but best to keep it for drizzling over a salad, pizza or pasta and use Coconut oil for everything else.
